'Electric Delights' is een baanbrekende verzameling virtuoze composities van componisten uit verschillende generaties en hoeken van de wereld, in combinatie met prachtige lichtkunst van Jurjen Alkema.

Black Pencil daagde componisten uit om helemaal vrij muziek te schrijven voor haar unieke en verrassende instrumentarium: blokfluit, panfluit, altviool, accordeon en slagwerk. De uitdaging? Experimenteer, verken nieuwe mogelijkheden en doorbreek grenzen om het publiek te verwonderen en te betoveren.Het resultaat is Electric Delights, een verzameling virtuoze composities van onder andere Anthony Fiumara, Celia Swart, Igor Silva, Akim Moiseenkov, Hugo Morales en Enric Monfort. Dit vormt een kleurrijk, innovatief en creatief programma dat moeiteloos buiten de gebaande paden treedt.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
