In Atem neemt zangeres Elisabeth Hetherington je mee in een unieke mindfulness-ervaring. Door vanaf een yogamat of stoel mee te ademen, te bewegen en te neuriën wordt je onderdeel van de performance. Componist Wouter Snoei ontwikkelde een soundscape geïnspireerd op de klanken uit de natuur. Elisabeth zingt improvisaties en werk van onder anderen Morton Feldman en Hildegard van Bingen. Atem is een meditatieve ervaring op het snijvlak van performance en ritueel.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
