Elk jaar organiseert het Conservatorium van Amsterdam een festival waarin afstuderende compositiestudenten hun werken in première brengen. Traditiegetrouw is de vrijdagavond ingeruimd voor een concert in het Orgelpark waar nieuwe composities worden gepresenteerd waarbij het orgel een rol speelt. In deze editie presenteert het CvA onder meer composities van Elizabete Rudzinska en Jasmine Karimova.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
