Deadeye is allerminst een doorsnee gitaar, drums en Hammond-orgeltrio. Gitarist Reinier Baas, organist Kit Downes en drummer Jonas Burgwinkel verkennen al jaren de grenzen tussen jazz, rock, folk en 20ste-eeuwse klassieke muziek, en presenteren nu hun nieuwste album 'In Orbit'.

Reinier Baas bouwde een eigenzinnig oeuvre op, van een ‘mostly instrumental opera’ tot Edison-winnende albums, en werkte met orkesten als Metropole Orkest en WDR Big Band. De Britse pianist en organist Kit Downes werd bekroond met een BBC Jazz Award, genomineerd voor de Mercury Prize en toert internationaal als ECM-solist. De Duitse drummer Jonas Burgwinkel speelde op meer dan 80 albums, ontving de ECHO Jazz Award en deelde het podium met iconen als John Scofield, Chris Potter en Lee Konitz.Kit Downes Hammond orgel, Reinier Baas gitaar, Jonas Burgwinkel drums

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
