Dual Attractor

'Dual Attractor' is een gedurfde en genre-overstijgende verkenning van solowerken voor percussie van vrouwelijke componisten van over de hele wereld, uitgevoerd door de Australische percussie-tovenaar Claire Edwardes. Op het programma staat onder meer 'Joyful Melodies' van Kate Moore.

Geïnspireerd door de chaostheorie onderzoekt Dual Attractor twee zwaartekrachtscentra die in verschillende richtingen trekken. Voor Claire komen deze tegengestelde krachten tot uiting in de relatie tussen uitvoerder en instrument, de verschillende klanken van marimba en vibrafoon, en de spanning tussen decennia van creatief werk en het onbekende terrein dat voor hen ligt.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
