De Nederlands Canadese componist Trevor Grahl schrijft Folly, het nieuwe verplichte finalewerk dat de drie finalisten gaan uitvoeren met Asko|Schönberg. Bij de uitvoering moeten de solisten en ensemble samenspelen met een video die dan op een groot scherm wordt geprojecteerd. Hoe precies is nog een verrassing. Spannend, want de drie grootste slagwerktalenten uit de hele wereld strijden op het hoogste niveau om de prijzen.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
