Kimya Band is een ode aan co-creatie, collectieve artistieke praktijk en de versmelting van diverse muzikale tradities. Door composities te combineren met innovatieve klankwerelden, overstijgt het project culturele en stilistische grenzen. Met composities van Anan Al-Kadamani, Samer Aleid en Hannibal Saad. Het optreden is onderdeel van Culture Unlimited Festival.

Verhalenhuis Rotterdam creëert via tentoonstellingen, voorstellingen, gesprekken, maaltijden en buurtactiviteiten ruimtes voor luisteren, delen en reflectie. Eten speelt vaak een centrale rol in de programma's en brengt mensen samen rond de tafel om verhalen en perspectieven uit te wisselen. De nadruk van de locatie op dialoog, gastvrijheid en menselijke verbondenheid maakt het een natuurlijke thuisbasis voor een avond die muziek, poëzie en gemeenschapszin combineert.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
