Componist Kate Moore is te gast tijdens de kerkdienst in De Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, met de wereldpremière van ‘La Grazia’. Het werk van Moore, die bekend staat om haar spirituele aanpak van componeren, door bijvoorbeeld maandenlange wandeltochten als basis voor haar werk te gebruiken, past bij uitstek in de context van het mystieke, verstilde en uitgestrekte kerkgebouw.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
