Jelmer de Moed nodigt vijf inspirerende topmuzikanten uit voor een ontdekkingstocht naar het surrealisme. We verkennen muziek van George Crumb, zijn inspirator Claude Debussy, collega John Cage, en een hommage van Nuno Lobo. De betovering wordt compleet gemaakt door de verbluffende visuele wereld van Vincent Rang. Laat je meevoeren naar het onbekende!

Vanaf de Haagse kust duiken we de oceaan in naar de donkere diepte van de oceaanbodem, die door diepzee-mijnbouw bedreigd wordt. Deze kale vlakte blijkt een plek waar het leven prachtige surrealistische vormen aanneemt, een plek die al vele donkere periodes op aarde wist te doorstaan. FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
