De componisten Caroline Shaw, Andrew Yee en Asma Maroof tekenden voor de muziek bij de film over Moby, geregisseerd door Wu Tsang. De compositie, live uitgevoerd door BRYGGEN Bruges Strings, volgt de witte walvis boven en onder het wateroppervlak en ontwikkelt een visueel universum dat zich verzet tegen de uitbuiting van de aarde onder het imperiale kolonialisme.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
