Phion en Orkest De Ereprijs bundelen hun krachten en vormen het ensemble RKST21. Tijdens het Andriessen Festival speelt RKST21 werken van upcoming componisten en veteranen van de hedendaagse muziek. Christiaan Richter schrijft voor RKST21 ‘muTaTum’: een pianoconcert als hommage aan de legendarische jazzpianist Art Tatum (1909-1956). Zijn nieuwe compositie gaat tijdens het festival in première, met de Griekse pianist Ermis Theodorakis als solist.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
