Louis Andriessen wist niet alleen musici en ensembles als Asko|Schönberg, maar vooral ook luisteraars te verleiden met zijn karakteristieke anekdotische vertelstijl. Mirjam Zegers, jarenlang Andriessens assistent en de editor van het boek Gestolen tijd: alle verhalen, waarin vele teksten van Andriessen zijn opgetekend, laat de componist vanavond aan het woord in karakteristieke filmfragmenten over zijn bijzondere rol in het Nederlandse muziekleven.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
