Spannend, direct en non-conformistisch is de muziek van Joey Roukens, die een nieuw stuk voor Pynarello schrijft. Zijn eclectische stijl sluit weinig uit, maar is toch een stijlvast, strak in elkaar gezet geheel.

Pathétique

Daarnaast Tsjaikovski’s emotioneel geladen laatste symfonie, waaraan het mysterie kleeft van zijn dood een week na de première. Is dit autobiografische muziek, pleegde Tsjaikovski zelfmoord, was zijn homoseksualiteit daartoe de aanleiding? Niemand weet het. De bijnaam ‘Pathétique’ is in ieder geval terecht.‘Een rebellencollectief gesneden uit flexibel schuimrubber’, zo afficheren de musici van Pynarello zichzelf. De benadering en de presentatie van klassieke muziek moet anders. En daarom verzet Pynarello zich tegen de ingesleten uitvoeringscultuur. Het moet spannender, avontuurlijker, spontaner en directer. FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
