Nieuw werk voor het Castello Consort

De musici van het Castello Consort, experts in de renaissance en vroegbarok, gaan voor Gaudeamus de uitdaging aan om samen te werken met twee hedendaagse Nederlandse componisten. De verwachtingen zijn hooggespannen. Het jonge talent Rick van Veldhuizen en Martijn Padding, een van de meest toonaangevende Nederlandse componisten van de afgelopen decennia, weten maar al te goed wat voor spannends er kan gebeuren als het oude en het nieuwe samenkomen.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
