Synthese is een muzikale ontdekkingsreis langs de verhalen en klanken van erfgoed op onconventionele locaties in Utrecht. Synthese samen met AMME (Association Marocaine de Musique Electronique), een organisatie die zich inzet om de Marokkaanse elektronische muziekscene te ondersteunen en de rijke traditie van Amazigh-muziek te promoten.

Anushka Chkheidze

Anushka Chkheidze is een veelbelovend talent ver buiten de grenzen van haar thuisland Georgië. Ze groeide op in het kleine dorp Kharagauli en begon daar op 11-jarige leeftijd te zingen in het koor. Ze beschouwt de tijd daar als magisch en gelooft dat haar muziek sterk beïnvloed is door die kinderjaren. In haar werk verbindt ze de sonische werelden van die tijd met de elektronische geluiden van de dansvloer.De avond wordt georganiseerd door Gaudeamus. Verder op het programma staan dj-sets van Elias Mazian en Mary Lake en een live performance door Mohamed Said, Prophän & Cengiz Arslanpay waarin ze Soefi-rituelen onderzoeken.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
