Boi Akih is een avontuurlijke mix van poëtische vocalen en gelaagde gitaarcomposities die jazz, Europese en Molukse tradities laat samenvloeien. In The Sea Entirely maken vier musici één meeslepende muzikale reis met elkaar. Dichter Joost Baars schreef daarvoor een driedelig gedicht, gebaseerd op een reisdagboek van gitarist Niels Brouwer die naast Boy Edgar Prijs winnaar (2023) Monica Akihary versterking krijgt van pianist Nora Mulder en elektronica-wizard Ruben Kieftenbelt.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
