In deze nieuwe filmopera verkent Michel van der Aa actuele thema’s als desinformatie en complottheorieën. Tegenstrijdige perspectieven zorgen niet alleen voor polarisatie in de samenleving, maar ook voor spanningen tussen vrienden en familieleden. In Theory of Flames raakt regisseur Neola verstrikt in een web van alternatieve feiten, terwijl haar geliefden machteloos toekijken. Het stuk is onderdeel van het Opera Forward festival.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
