Tijdens Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam presenteert componist Yu Oda twee multimediawerken in samenwerking met klavecinist Liubov Titarenko: de première van 'Velarium' voor klavecimbel, elektronica en realtime visuals, en 'NoiseSample' voor live elektronica en realtime visuals.

Nieuwe Noten is een concertserie in Orgelpark met hedendaagse kamermuziek, geprogrammeerd door basklarinettist Fie Schouten en componist Aspasia Nasopoulou. Naast de multimediawerken van Yu Oda bevat het programma dit keer ook werken van onder anderen Hawar Tawfiq en Nieuwe Noten mede-organisator Aspasia Nasopoulou.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
