Peter-Jan Wagemans heeft voor het Doelenensemble een nieuw werk geschreven, voor basfluit en klankinstallatie met 26 luidsprekers. Dit werk, met de titel 'Wake Up, Child' wordt op 20 april uitgevoerd in de Jurriaanse Zaal van de Doelen, in Rotterdam door Marieke Franssens (basfluit) en de kinetic sounds installatie van Klankvorm.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a vibrant mix of Senegalese percussion, vocals, and electric grooves by the FaKruTu Trio. Recorded live at TivoliVredenburg during the 15th anniversary of the World Music Forum NL, the performance showcases energetic and soulful music that crosses cultural boundaries.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
