Alone Together is a project that explores the power of music during times of isolation. One of the pieces featured in this project is Kate Moore's Sad Melody, performed by the Cello Octet Amsterdam in May 2020 during self-isolation. The piece, like the project itself, reflects the feeling of solitude while maintaining a sense of unity through music. The Cello Octet, though distanced, comes together to bring this deeply emotional and reflective composition to life.
