Het pianotrio 3:3 thumbnail

Piano Trio 3/3 is part of a series exploring how independent parts can come together to form a composition. The triptych consists of overlapping solo pieces inspired by historical figures: the violin by Icarus, the cello by Augustine, and the piano by Beethoven. Other works in the series include 4/4 (string quartet), 5/5 (reed quintet), and 6/6 (string sextet). The work was last performed in Rome in 2003.
