In Alto For Two, two innovative female saxophonists, Kika Sprangers from the Netherlands and Irene Reig from Barcelona, meet to showcase their compositions in this Dutch-Catalan co-production. Their diverse artistic visions create a rich sonic palette, performed by a quintet featuring drums, contrabass, and piano at InJazz 2023. The performance blends the distinct styles of the saxophonists with the collective energy of Xavi Torres on piano, Thomas Pol on contrabass, and Sun-Mi Hong on drums.
