Kamerkoor JIP and Haarlems Studenten Koor, conducted by Imre Ploeg, present Der Schwan, composed by Diederik van der Laag (The Netherlands). The ensemble features Lynn Eekhof, Marije Besselink, Yente Ploeg, Tine van der Weij, Eva Trapman, and Marieke Derks. Der Schwan is a composition that evokes deep emotional imagery, inspired by the swan’s symbolic significance in both nature and mythology. FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
