A joyful piece inspired by a painting of sad circus acrobats and their broken orchestra. Sebastiaan van Yperen conducts an ensemble featuring flute, oboe, horn, violin, viola, and cello.

The painting depicts a large canvas with sad circus acrobats and their small orchestra, consisting of three elderly men with broken instruments. Despite the misery shown, the composer created a joyful piece. The performance features Sebastiaan van Yperen conducting an ensemble with Ana dos Santos Silva Ribeiro (flute), Marieke Schut (oboe), Jan Harshagen (French horn), Joseph Puglia (violin), Jieun Kim (viola), and Wilma de Bruijn (cello).
