In this short documentary, we follow Rob van den Broek and Maya Fridman as they test instruments for the performance of Severade by Cello Octet Amsterdam. Premiered on April 16, 2021, the piece, composed by Maxim Shalygin, features Fridman as the soloist. Directed by Udo Prinsen, the film gives insight into the creation of this powerful performance.

FaKruTu Dakar Edition is a musical experience that spans from Dakar to Amsterdam, bringing together a passionate powerhouse of established musicians from Senegal, Netherlands, and the United States. Senegalese percussion and songs blend with the eclectic and electric grooves of the FaKruTu Trio. The band has built a reputation for delivering high-energy, soulful performances that get the audience on their feet.
