Boris Bezemer composed two new pieces for Ensemble Resilience, including the world premiere of Mountain. This piece is based on intertwining streams of sound: rhythmic patterns, melodic patterns, digitally processed sounds, and pedal tones. Beneath this tapestry, a rapid, continuous pulse ticks away, connecting the various threads through metric modulations.
